Many of you have probably already heard of the story of David and Goliath. But have you heard of the story of David and the Giant?
And, no, I’m not talking the rock band.
In this case, the giant is the baby-hungry organization known as Planned Parenthood, and the David in question is none other than David Daleiden, the founder of Center for Medical Progress (CMP). In a stunning display of pro-life judgement, a Texan judge recently dismissed the charge against David for his undercover investigatory role on behalf of CMP.
The entire ordeal which has been dubbed “bogus” and a “sham” by major outlets is riling up pro-lifers who feel that the District Attorney who originally filed charges against David was in “cahoots” with Planned Parenthood the entire time. While the misdemeanor charge of trafficking human organs was dropped by Harris County Texas Judge Diane Bull on Tuesday, the story has only continued to gain momentum.
David still has one more charge to overcome, but pro-lifers take this latest turn of events as a good sign in the right direction. “This is a huge win for the protection of First Amendment rights for all citizen journalists and a smack down of bogus charges brought by politically-motivated officials trying to cover up the heinous crimes of Planned Parenthood and StemExpress,” said Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America.
Ironically, we’ve heard very little of the recent uncover video of 60 Minutes that seemed a little too eerily similar to that of David and CMP’s own journalism efforts. As our Director of Urban Outreach, Henry Flowers IV, phrased it, “Why didn’t they get investigated like David Daleiden did?”
To put it mildly, the theories to that question are running rampant.
But let’s get back to the issue at hand…
David paid us all a great service by exposing what really goes on behind Planned Parenthood’s closed doors. The pro-life community was able to wake people up to the injustice of the innocent bloodshed going on in our own backyards.
According to Henry, “We continue to see the abortion issue as a white Republican issue but, yet, here’s a guy who’s non-African American — he is fighting for us and many of us haven’t gotten involved or said a word about it.”
David’s efforts in exposing abortion has only spurred Henry’s endeavors to enlighten people that abortion is the number one killer of African Americans. Furthermore, minorities continue to be routinely targeted by big organizations like Planned Parenthood, Compassion & Choices, and others as people step aside, unaware of the realities that are taking place.
Hopefully, though, more people are waking up to the so-called “justified” slaughter that is taking place around them – thanks, in large part, to people like David exposing corruption.
