Protecting Black Life Thanks You For Your Prayers and Financial Support

As Urban Outreach Director of Protecting Black Life, I would like to thank you for your prayers and financial support for our continued efforts to advance the mission of life. Without your support we could not continue to do what we do.

MIAMI, FL

I just returned from an incredible trip to Miami, FL, where I was the keynote speaker at The Silent Epidemic Pastor's & Leader's Summit on Aug. 7, 2009. National abortion-rate data reveals that the bulk of America's abortions are concentrated in five major cities: Los Angeles, New York City, Washington D.C., Las Vegas and Miami. Miami now has 37 confirmed abortuaries, not including hospitals marketing abortion to women struggling with an unexpected pregnancy. But Miami currently has only 2 ultrasound-equipped pregnancy centers, one of which is in North Dade Miami, operated by Heartbeat of Miami, one of the sponsors of The Silent Epidemic event.

There were about 75, predominately Black, pastors and leaders in attendance. I preached from the subject, How Shall They Hear Without a Preacher? (Rom. 10:13-15). As soon as I receive the video of the sermon, I will post it on the Media Outreach page of our website www.ProtectingBlackLife.org

Here are some of the fruits of our labors, emailed to me from Yesenia Basas, North Dade Clinic Director:

  • One of the attending African American pastors that I have attempted various times to reach, with no success, approached me at the end of the event. He shared with me that he himself was an aborted twin (i.e., the one that survived). He went on to let me know that he would be gathering a group of neighboring pastors at his church to preview the Maafa 21 film. He went on to thank me and Heartbeat of Miami for putting this event together and assured me that he will become actively involved with our clinics to battle Black Genocide.

  • A pastoral couple that also attended the event, phoned to let me know that they were so ignited by the message and information that they would like to work on getting a conference together and have you come and speak.

  • A few days after the event, a Reverend that was in attendance shared these words with me, "I have been haunted with the message ever since the event; it has shaken me to the core."

  • One of the attendees has asked me for 25 registration bags and for training in sharing the message, so she can extend it to 25 of her most influential friends.

  • Another pastor in attendance has agreed to gather a group of pastoral wives and leaders so we can present a short version of The Silent Epidemic.

  • A very well known African American pastor that was unable to attend had expressed the desire to open his church to the community pastors to preview the film Maafa 21.

To God be the glory for the things HE has done!

LONDON, ENGLAND

I will be in London, England September 1-7, 2009 speaking at The Society for the Protection of Unborn Children's (SPUC) annual international conference. Here's a link to SPUC's website: http://www.spuc.org.uk/about/conferences/

I would appreciate your prayers as we continue to carry out this kingdom mandate!

Sincerely,

ARNOLD M. CULBREATH
