1. WHY do we believe this billboard campaign is necessary?
The purpose of Protecting Black Life’s Cincinnati, OH Educational Billboard Campaign is to:
Inform African Americans, as well as the community at-large, that abortion is the leading cause of death among African Americans.
Alert African Americans to the fact that Planned Parenthood targets the Black community by placing 2 out of every 3 (62.5%) of their facilities in our communities.
Equip people with practical things they can do to address the problem of abortion.
Offer help to those who may find themselves in an unplanned pregnancy right now.
Provide hope to those who’ve had abortions and may still be suffering from its aftermath.
Protecting Black Life is a Cincinnati, OH based organization whose primary goals are to educate, motivate and activate the African American community with the pro-life message, particularly as it relates to abortion, the LEADING cause of death in the African American community.
We speak to African American audiences at local and national gatherings and events.
We collaborate with African American pastors and leaders to develop strategies to reduce and eventually eradicate the problem of abortion in the black community.

We develop pro-life educational literature, as well as maintain a web site and resources exclusively for the African American community for the purpose of education on the issue of abortion and how we are being targeted by the abortion industry.
We operate pro-life educational booths at African American events.
We organize pro-life educational groups and efforts in the African American community.

To say abortion's impact on the African American community has reached epidemic proportions is an understatement. Because of abortion, we currently have an annual deficit of Black life in the U.S. In other words, African Americans are leaving this earth at a faster rate than we're coming here.
Consider the most recent (2005) national abortion statistics for the White, Brown (Hispanic) and Black (African American) communities in the U.S.:
Non-Hispanic White:
2,303,000 - Live White Births
415,000 - Induced White Abortions
(Approximately 1 Abortion to every 5.5 Live Births)
Hispanic:
986,000 - Live Brown Births
263,000 Induced Brown Abortions
(Approximately 1 Abortion to every 3.75 Live Births)
Non-Hispanic Black:
587,000 - Live Black Births
452,000 - Induced Black Abortions
(Approximately 1 Abortion to every 1.3 Live Births)
Let's examine abortion's toll on the African American community even closer. In 2005, according to National Vital Statistics Report: Vol. 58, No. 8, released Dec. 23, 2009, there were 292,808 Black deaths from all other causes (excluding abortion). LEARN MORE.
Look at the math…
587,000 Live Black births
- 744,808 Black deaths (i.e., 452,000 induced abortions + 292,808 all other causes) -157,808 (Deficit of Black Life)
Research indicates that Planned Parenthood targets African Americans by locating approximately 2 out of every 3 (62.5%) of their facilities in Black communities. LEARN MORE.

It's the movie too explosive for Hollywood to make. It's about a plan that began 150 years ago to exterminate a whole race of people and how that plan is still being carried out today. It's about elitism, economic control and terrifying racial agendas. It's about things the media won't tell you and things politicians don't want you to know.
The billboards are currently located in several of Cincinnati, Ohio’s highest abortion communities according to the Ohio Department of Health’s 2008 report entitled: 2008 Induced Abortions in Ohio
We desperately need to begin talking more about abortion’s devastating and disproportionate impact on the African American community because our lives, our families and our future depend on it!
